Update: 10/16/08: Okay, I know I haven't re-vamp the site as I had hoped to get done! It has been quite awhile since I have really used HTML to remember all the coding, but will try to get my memory refreshed. In the meantime....I have been busy with researching my Standford and Flick lines. I have found info on a cousin and his group of the family! On my yearly trip to PA in August with my dad, we made it to several cemeteries and documented over 300 graves and took as many photos! They have all been added to find-a-grave www.findagrave.com and you can search our entries using this:
Update: 12/16/07: Please bear with me as I re-vamp my site. I'm going to try to add in our family histories and a few photos of our ancestors and maybe even a section dedicated to our parrots, of which we have 7 of! Our birds keep us pretty busy along with all the regular every day activities that we all have going on, plus I'm on a yahoo group called "Ekkiechat". Our Ekkiechat homepage is at: http://ekkiechat.homestead.com/ Feel free to come by, check us out and join our group!
In the past few months I have also joined several genealogy groups and have been working heavily on my (maternal lines) Bailey (brick-walled), Lewis (now brick-walled), Tanner, Tefft, Pangborn, Stanford, McCain, Tibbits/Tibbets, Tuttle, and now (newly discovered) Munson lines. If anyone would like more info on these lines, I can be contacted by email at lanne271g@aol.com
Some of our other lines (Paternal) are (that my dad concentrates on) Bish, Martin, Wolf, First, Wolfgang, Winchester, Bailey, Tefft (yes, I am my own cousin!), Tanner (a few I think), Baker, Loehr, Scholl, Rhodes, Doverspike, Charles, Shaffer, McNeish, Morse, Rich, Newton, Powell, and many others! Yes, we have many more names for this side of the family, but then my dad has been working on these lines a lot longer than I have been working on my mother's lines! If you have any connections to any of these names and wonder if we're connected, my dad, Larry R. Bish, can be contacted at bishtreeclimber@aol.com.
I am also helping my mom with keeping track of the Keith family tree, my step-dad's family. When his cousin Barb died (the family historian) of cancer she asked my mom to do what she can to keep the family together and the reunions going. Our numbers that make it to the reunion are dwindling but many do return year after year. Once the oldest members are gone we hope the younger generations will continue to come! We are doing the best we can but it is hard to keep track of all the info if no one lets us know of births and deaths that we have in the family. Barb has left much of her research papers to my mom and I have worked to enter them into my database for her for organization of the information. If you have any info for us on these lines, please email me and let us know! lanne271g@aol.com
Thanks for you patience!
